Wroughton PV Farm 33kV Project Begins

Working with Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks, Glanville Projects is pleased to announce the commencement of a new 33kV cable installation project in the Wroughton, Swindon, area.

The scheme involves the replacement of an existing 33kV transmission cable from an existing solar farm at Wroughton Airfield to its substation connection point located in the Toothill area of Swindon.

With an approximate route length of 7.3km with a mixture of agricultrual and highways works, including crossings underneath the Great Western Mainline and M4 Motorway, the project aims to complete by October 2018.
