Aldershot to Laburnum Road Cable Installation Completes

A £3m project to improve electricity supplies and minimise the risk of power cuts in and around the Aldershot area is on schedule to be completed in early 2018, with major cable installation works completed.

Working with Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN), the local electricity distributor, Glanville Projects has been assisting with the project of installing 8.5km of new 33kV HV underground cable between substations in Lower Weybourne Lane in Farnham and Laburnum Road in Aldershot.

Glanville Projects has been working with SSEN early in the project lifecycle from the design and tender stage, and then continued our involvment during the construction phase by providing on-site project management assistance.
